However, most flies are easily controlled. Only certain small flies breed indoors but many types of flies are attracted inside which are an annoyance, but more importantly, raises health concerns. The main things that bring flies indoors are:
- Ideal temperatures radiating from buildings
- The search for food
- Light sources
To combat fly problems, you must eliminate the source of the infestation as well as the adult flies. This can be done in 3 Steps.
- Eliminate Fly Breeding Areas
- Sanitation to reduce breeding grounds
- Use of Fly Zappers, Fly Lights and Fly Spray Treatment for adult flies
- Fly Control Steps
- Once you've found information on your fly, our Fly Control page outlines the steps needed on how to kill
flies.
For sensitive areas needing Fly Control (i.e. around food), that are unable to use traditional methods, you're still in luck.
- Fly Zappers and Residual Sprays can be used effectively in outside areas around dumpsters, etc
- Fly Traps are hygienic, effective, and safe to use. Even around food.
- Pyrethrum Fly Sprays. Safe, non toxic, but keep 8 feet away from food preparation.
